 The Wenatchee River season starts in Mid-April and should run through late July.

We are excited to begin rafting on the Wenatchee River near Leavenworth in mid-April. The optimal river conditions typically occur in May and June. As summer arrives, the river becomes calmer, with rafting winding down by late July or early August. Additionally, inflatable kayaking will start in mid-June and run until early August.

Wenatchee River:

Conditions – Rafting typically begins in mid-April, with the best conditions occurring in May and June.

Methow River:

Conditions – The Methow River has a very short season, running only during the first two weeks of June. We raft the Methow only when the conditions are optimal!

What’s Hot in Late-August/September?

Just outside of Yakima, the dam-released Tieton River starts up in late-August and goes into mid-September. After being kept in a reservoir all spring and summer, the Tieton River provides warmer water temperatures with an action packed steep decline of twists and turns along with class III and IV whitewater rapids.
